6 questions about chronic pain made simple ➡️🙃

1) "Chronic pain means something is broken.”
❌ Not necessarily.
✅ The nervous system may be sensitized.

2) "My pain predicts the weather.”
Not psychic.
Your body is responding to barometric pressure changes.

3) "My imaging is normal—why does it still hurt?”
Because pain is not damage.
It’s neural processing between brain and body.

4 "I’m afraid to move.”
That’s not avoidance.
It’s a learned protective response.
Movement needs to feel safe again.

5) "Pain goes away… then returns.”
Common in chronic pain.
The nervous system can re-activate learned patterns.
