Partner Highlight📣 The Tattoo Apothecary 💛

Some businesses support their community occasionally. The Tattoo Apothecary in Rogers has built community care into the way it operates. 🫶

➡️Their Community Corner is a free public pantry where people can access food and other essentials without judgment. They incorporate donation drives into community events and have even used donation punch cards to thank repeat contributors with tattoo discounts. 😮

They also create sober community spaces and serve as a Checkpoint Access Point, making free naloxone, overdose response information, and more available while supplies are available. 💯

What makes this partnership special is how all of those pieces work together. 🔗

Someone can walk into one trusted local business and find art, connection, food support, naloxone, and an opportunity to give something back when they are able. 🤗

➡️That is what we mean when we say an Access Point can become more than a box of Narcan. It can become part of a larger community-support system built around dignity, trust, and mutual care.

Thank you to The Tattoo Apothecary team and everyone who helps keep the Community Corner stocked.

This is community care in practice. 💛

We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences.

If you have an appointment booked with August, it has been canceled. If you were in the process of booking, that has been put on hold. Emails and messages have been sent out to those who were in contact. We do not have a definitive timeline as of right now.

If you’re interested in booking with another one of our artists or have any questions/concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us individually or through the shop pages/phone!

Thank you for your patience and understanding as one of our beloved community members navigates through this, life is hard on all of us right now 💖
