We grieve the loss of our friend and colleague, Margie Tessaro. She worked for Dr. David for 16 years. The day that Dr. David died, even though she had retired from the office almost 2 years earlier, she came in immediately and worked for free over the following weeks to help us pick up the pieces.
Margie intimately knew our patients. She could tell you who anybody’s relative was, from aunt to distant cousin. Dr. David depended on her to help him send cards of sympathy and congratulations to our patient families. Like Dr. David, Margie was generous to a fault. The girls still laugh about how patients knew if they got ahold of Margie, she would always say “yes sweetie come right on over”, regardless of the schedule or time of day.
Many people spend their entire lives wondering if they make a difference. Not Margie. She helped Myers Clinic in ways that continue to make a difference to this very day.
