What a beautiful day spent at the Blue Lotus Center in West Bend! 💙

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this incredible place! Everything was absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and accessible for everyone to enjoy - hiking, biking, boating, fishing, roasting goodies over the campfire.. you name it 🥹💛

Stacey and the volunteers, Cheryl + Jim, were AMAZING and made our visit extra special. Their kindness, passion, and dedication truly shine through everything they do. We are so grateful for the opportunity to visit and experience such a welcoming, inclusive space!

We encourage everyone to check out the Blue Lotus Center, plan a visit, and find ways to support the incredible work they do. Places like this make such a meaningful difference in our communities! 🫶🏼

Last week, we were welcomed back to the VandeBerg’s land for a fun fall day! 🍂🎃

Despite getting a little wet, the wind and rain made for some extra fun memories! We enjoyed a hayride, hot cocoa, pumpkin picking, pumpkin bowling, a nature scavenger hunt, making fresh c***r, fishing, and a tasty caramel apple bar. To top it all off, we celebrated a few October birthdays! 🥳🍎

A HUGE thank you to the VandeBerg family and our community volunteers for all their hard work in making this day extra special for everyone! We are so grateful for the time, effort, and kindness that went into creating such a memorable fall day, yet again, for our participants. 🧡🍂

Earlier this week, we made our first visit to Marsh Haven Nature Center, a beautiful nonprofit nestled on the edge of the Horicon Marsh! 🌿🐢

Director Matt led us through a wonderful reptile education program and animal meet-and-greet! We also enjoyed museum BINGO, a fun craft, and quality time together. Although the pouring rain put our nature hike on hold, we had such a great time that we’d absolutely love to visit again! 🐍💚

A huge thank you to Matt for welcoming us and making it such a wonderful day! 😊

Our Outdoor Education group had a bushel of fun picking apples yesterday! 🍎🍏 They picked 3 overflowing pails of apples while learning how to use an apple picker! After all their hard work, they were treated to a tasty apple treat. 😋

Today looks like our last sunny day of the year, so we’re soaking up every bit of it! ☀️🚲

We’ve been loving our bikes, generously gifted by the Zentner family! Our participants of all abilities have enjoyed getting outside, going for rides (even on the trail!) and making memories. We are so incredibly thankful for your kindness and generosity! 🥰🥹💛

In a few short days, the sweetest family from Kallas Co. LLC will be parked outside of Onward again! Back in August, it was a HUGE hit and now they have some other tasty items on their menu alonside serving up some of the BEST dirty sodas and lemonade I've ever had! 🍿🥤🍋
