A couple great events happening this weekend by our community partners, LLRC and SAPARS:

On Saturday, October 24th, from 5-8pm, Larry Labonte Recovery Center located at 412 Waldo St. in Rumford is hosting a Halloween-themed Karaoke/Open Mic Night. Costumes are not required but highly encouraged. This is a free, recovery- and family-friendly community event.

On Sunday, October 25th, starting at 3pm, Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Services is holding a fundraising bowling tournament at River Lanes Bowling at 32 Cross St. in Bethel. Facebook event link: https://www.facebook.com/share/1CwRs1TzXT/

The Wellness Walkers have been busy this month walking and supporting some great causes.
They participated in the River Valley 14th Annual ~ Domestic Violence Awareness Walk with Safe Voices. and also the Breast Cancer Supporting & Awareness Walk.
So many community members showed up to support these very important causes. Thank you all for making a difference and being part of this
