💦 “Lymphatic Massage”; has become such a misused term and marketing phrase.

We see wooden tools, deep and aggressive pressure, painful techniques and the famous: body contouring.

Let’s just call them what they are, but please let’s not call them lymphatic drainage.

Our lymphatic System is anatomy, it’s not a trend.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage has principles:
It has physiology, it has direction, it has gentle pressure, it has a purpose. 🙌🏻

If you are expecting that at the end of the session you will have a carved out, snatched stomach magically, maybe I would advise you to do some proper research before booking a true MLD session 🤗

🔑 For all my ladies who have plastic surgery in their mind:
I always, always advise to get it done in Fall or Winter. Your body needs a few months to heal, and doing that in this Summer heat is brutal. 🥵

It will affect your motivation getting treatments such as Manual Lymph Drainage, which is the most important treatment to heal faster and see better results! Risk of infection and swelling are much higher also!

Just because you like pain and random pointy elbows… doesn’t mean it’s effective. 👀 There, i said it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

If you’ve ever had a massage that helped you sleep better, breathe easier or move without pain, you know it’s so much more than a simple massage. ✨

✔️ A reset for your body and mind

Your body deserves that kind of care, not just when something hurts, but BEFORE it does. 🌱
