To everyone who loved Mom,
Thank you for all the kind messages, stories, and photos you've shared since we lost her in August. Reading them has meant more to Marla and me than we can say.
So many of you knew her as "Your Pal Val," and that name fit her perfectly. Whether she was on the pickleball court, volunteering with Search and Rescue, delivering Meals on Wheels, or helping out at church, she never met a stranger.
Marla and I put together a memorial page for her here:
http://everloved.com/life-of/valorie-michaud/
You'll find her obituary, photos, and a place to share your own memories. If you have a favorite story or picture of Mom, please add it. Every one of them brings us comfort.
We'd love for you to join us at her Celebration of Life:
**Saturday, October 3, 2026**
**5:00 to 8:00 p.m.**
**Discovery Park, Safford, AZ**
For those who can't be there with us in person, **we will be livestreaming Mom's Celebration of Life on YouTube** so that friends and family near and far can still be part of the evening.
**Watch the livestream here:**

Please feel free to share the livestream link with anyone who knew and loved Mom and may not be able to attend in person.
The venue holds 200 people with seating for 160, so if you're joining us in person, please RSVP on the memorial page. It really helps us make sure there's room and food for everyone.
The celebration will be potluck style, so feel free to bring a favorite dish to share. Mom always loved a good gathering around food.
We'll also have a videographer there who would love to record your stories about Mom. If you have a memory, a funny moment, or just something you want to say about her, please stop by and share it. These recordings will be a treasure for our family, especially her grandkids.
In lieu of flowers, Mom would have loved a gift to the Three Butterflies SIDS Foundation, the Alzheimer's Association, or Montana Wild Wings Recovery Center. There's a link on the memorial page.
Thank you for loving her the way she loved all of you.
Steve
