Anida is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner accepting patients of all ages and is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to the Safford community.

She earned her nursing degree from Eastern Arizona College, her BSN from Grand Canyon University, and her MSN from United States University. With over 16 years of experience as a registered nurse in emergency medicine and nephrology, along with 2 years of experience as a nurse practitioner, Anida brings extensive knowledge and a passion for caring for patients throughout every stage of life.

As a longtime resident of the Gila Valley, Anida is excited to continue serving the community’s healthcare needs and building lasting relationships with her patients.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and reading. 🌿📚

Canyonlands Healthcare Safford is excited to welcome our new chiropractor to the team. Dr. Thompson earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker University and brings 3 years of experience helping patients find relief from chronic pain, sciatica, neuropathy, and sports-related injuries.

His approach is rooted in evidence-based care, with a passion for helping individuals get back to living active, pain-free lives.

Outside the office, Dr. Thompson is a proud husband of 11 years and a dad of 3 boys. You’ll likely find him spending time with family, playing sports, camping, or hiking.
