☕ Today’s Health Tip: Know Your Caffeine!
Coffee, tea, soda/pop, and energy drinks can all add to your daily caffeine total (even the diet & sugar-free ones)!
For most adults, up to 400 mg a day is generally not associated with negative effects, but some people need less. Remember, this isn’t a daily goal!
✅ Check caffeine amounts and serving sizes.
✅ Choose decaf or caffeine-free drinks later in the day.
✅ If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking medications, ask your healthcare clinician about your limit.
What about kids and teens? Avoiding caffeine is best, and energy drinks are not recommended. Water and plain milk are better choices for them!
