On my recent flight to Denver, I packed a couple of my favorite snacks to hold me over, knowing that there usually isn’t too many options in the airport. I was pleasantly surprised to see that United had a gluten free option on board the flight!

These pre-made carnitas are BOGO at Publix right now! Great gluten free addition to last nights quesadillas. The other two (chicken and pork are NOT labeled gluten free) Have you tried this?

Got takeout last night and tried a new Thai restaurant in Winter Garden! Thai Blossom had lots of gf options and they marked our food as an allergy. We got pad Thai and panang curry! Both delicious! What’s your favorite gluten free Thai spot?

Queen Street Bakery is now at Target! Have you tried it before? The cinnamon raisin bagels are my favorite!

Everywhere I ate in Denver (and on the road trip stops around it) as a celiac 🌲🍕

📍 Marco’s Coal Fired Pizza: GF pizzas get a separate oven and separate toppings. Easily the best GF pizza I’ve had in a while.
📍 Serranos (Monument): coffee stop with GF packaged items
📍 Three Farm Girls (Palmer Lake): a 100% gluten free spot in a tiny town. I added it to Fig so other celiacs can find it!
📍 100% gluten free farmers market: empanadas and waffles, no cross-contact worries
📍 The Rouge W**e Bar: GF and GFA options marked right on the menu
📍 Snooze: if I travel somewhere with a Snooze, I HAVE to go. We went twice!

As always, double check with each restaurant about their current practices, because menus and prep change. Your comfort level is yours to decide 🤍

If you are ever at the Denver airport, Snooze is the place to go for a great gluten free meal! Unfortunately they were out of the gluten free toast this time but they still had gf cinnamon roll pancakes!

Still can’t believe there’s a 100% gluten free farmer’s market in Denver! This is what celiac dreams are made of!
