Kids LOVE pajama day and grown-ups wear pajamas to evening restorative yoga. This class is a combination of the two!
Kids will learn and practice wind down techniques. Adults will also have a chance to communicate through breath, movement and mindfulness. Everyone will feel the energy rise and fall throughout this enjoyable evening.

When energy is low, a calm corner can still feel fun for kids.

Set out a few simple props, and suddenly they have something to explore on their own. That little bit of choice is often what makes them want to stay.

I love how a calm corner gives kids independence while you get to sit back and observe.

What would you put into your calm corner?

Kids who hate sitting still can still do mindfulness.

The trick is to let the practice move. Yoga dice, pose cards, balance games, and breath counts turn it into something they can touch, choose, and explore.

When kids get to lead, they stay curious. And you get to sit back, watch, and enjoy the calm that grows from the play.

Why do some kids click with yoga?

Some kids want wiggles first. Others need a softer start, with more play and less pressure.

That’s the beauty of kids yoga. You can meet them where they are, whether they’re ready to jump in or need time to warm up.

What helps your child start moving?

My child says, “I can’t sit still.”

That usually means their body needs a reset, not a lecture.

Try a simple seated breathing game. Tap each fingertip with your thumb as they breathe in and out, and keep the count short if they’re little.

Practice it when things are calm first. Then it’s easier to use when big feelings show up.

Kids yoga can feel like a game when you turn it into a little obstacle course.

Set up a few stations with poses, breath work, balancing, scarves, sound bowls, crystals, or coloring, and let kids move through at their own pace. It’s playful, structured, and a great way for them to work independently.

Feet on the ground, head in the clouds.

Try it with your kids today.

A rough afternoon can get a little easier with one tiny reset.

Before the next big feeling takes over, try a small movement break. Reach up. Roll your shoulders. Wiggle your fingers. Let your body get a fresh start.

Kids usually don't need a huge fix. They need one simple moment to notice their body again.

Try one tiny movement break today.

A calm corner only works if kids actually want to use it.

The trick is making it feel like a safe little spot, not a timeout zone. A soft pillow, a favorite book, a stuffed animal, and one simple breathing tool can turn it into a place they choose on their own.

Keep it easy, cozy, and familiar. The more it feels like theirs, the more likely they are to go there when big feelings show up.

Groggy school mornings happen fast.

A simple breath and movement reset can help your child wake up their body and get ready to take on the day.

Try it together before backpacks and breakfast take over. It can turn that sleepy start into a calm family moment.

Save this for tomorrow morning.
