YES, THANKS. ✨
Have you ever heard of the improv game "Yes, And"?
The idea is simple: accept what's being offered in the moment, build upon it, and allow the story to continue unfolding.
But what if we took that same idea and applied it to our everyday lives?
Yes, Thanks.
Two simple words that invite us to meet life exactly where it is.
The good, the bad, the beautiful, the messy, and everything in between.
"Yes" — an acknowledgment and acceptance of what is.
"Thanks" — an openness to the opportunity within it. To learn, to respond, to grow, or perhaps simply to experience.
It doesn't mean we have to like everything that happens or feel grateful for every difficult moment. It means recognizing that even when we cannot choose our circumstances, we may still have a choice in how we meet them.
We can reflect on the past without remaining stuck in it, embrace the present without resisting it, and welcome the future without needing to know exactly how it will unfold.
Sometimes gratitude comes naturally. Other times, it grows through the experience itself.
Yes, Thanks.
For what was.
For what is.
For what has yet to unfold. 🌿
Join me this Wednesday as we bring this simple mantra into our practice, exploring acceptance, curiosity, and the possibilities that arise when we create a little space for life to unfold.
Come as you are. 💜
