She could have painted anything in her senior parking spot. She chose Shriners Children’s Salt Lake City. 💜

For Anah Grace, Shriners has been part of her story for over 12 years. Through surgeries, hard days and big milestones, her care has always been about more than what happens in the clinic.

It’s about helping her see what’s possible.

Dr. Hennessey taught Anah to dream big, so when it came time to paint her senior parking spot at Pinedale High School in Wyoming, she knew exactly who she wanted to honor.

And yes, there’s a little Nemo in there, too. 🐠 When Anah was little, she noticed Nemo had one smaller fin, just like she did, and he became her mascot.

Now she’s a senior with big plans of her own, preparing to study kinesiology and pursue a career helping others.

12 years of care. A whole lot of dreams. And one pretty special parking spot. 💜

There’s something pretty special about seeing a community come together for kids. 💜

Our 2026 Walk for Love at Hogle Zoo brought together Shriners Children’s Salt Lake City patients, families, friends and community supporters for a morning of walking through the zoo, seeing the animals, spending time together and showing up for a cause that means so much to us.

But the walk has a bigger purpose. Every dollar raised helps Shriners Children’s SLC provide life-changing pediatric care to kids, regardless of ability to pay. Walk for Love plays an important role in making that care possible for the children and families who need us.

We are so grateful to everyone who walked with us, donated, shared our posts, cheered us on, and helped spread the word. And thank you to Shrine Bowl of Wyoming, Big O Tires, Maxco Metals & Remco Roofing for supporting Walk for Love and helping make this day possible.

We’re already looking forward to next year. 💜 See you at Walk for Love 2027!

“Shriners Children’s made me want to help people.”

Phoenix first came to Shriners Children’s Salt Lake City as a baby with clubfoot.

Years later, the care he received became part of the reason he wanted to give back.

In ninth grade, Phoenix chose to learn American Sign Language.

What started as a class quickly became a passion, and now he’s pursing his dream of becoming a sign language interpreter, with hopes of working in healthcare.

Today, on International Day of Sign Languages, Phoenix is using his hands to celebrate something that has been part of his story for years: Walk For Love 2026. 🤟💜

From a little boy learning to walk to a young man learning how to help others, we’re pretty proud to call Phoenix one of our patient ambassadors.

10 years. 10+ prosthetic legs. 1 incredible journey.

Ten years ago, Brailey became a Shriners Children's Salt Lake City patient after losing her leg. Today, every prosthetic she's received represents a different chapter of her life.

"Each leg tells a different story, from my first steps to where I am now."

Growing up with a prosthetic hasn't always been easy. There have been painful days, adjustments, and plenty of changes along the way. But through it all, Brailey has had a team that understands exactly what she needs as she grows.

"I'm most grateful for my prosthetic leg at Shriners because my team of doctors specializes in what I need best."

Ten years later, her journey is still being written. 💛

For 32 years, Kruisers for Kids has been turning a love of cars into a love of giving back.

This incredible organization helps support our adaptive bike program, providing kids with equipment that helps them move, play, and experience more independence.

A new school year calls for a new leg!

Alissa is heading back to school at the University of Utah- and her role on the MUSS Board- with a prosthetic made to match her style, her goals, and her love for the Utes.

Her newest leg was created with Roger from POPS and features a custom Utes design, plus the ability to adjust for different shoe heights.

Yes, even heels.👠

A Shriners Children’s Salt Lake City patient since 2014, Alissa says her favorite part of her care is having a team that listens to what matters to her and helps make it possible.

And she’s not just dreaming about her future. Alissa is studying to become a pediatric surgeon herself.❤️

Some told her she wasn’t good enough.
So Shelby decided to prove them wrong.

Shelby was born with severely clubbed feet, and her mom wasn’t sure she’d ever walk. With surgeries and braces from Shriners Children’s Salt Lake City, Shelby took her first steps and hasn’t stopped proving what’s possible since.

From playing the drums and cello to performing on stage, Shelby has never let anyone else decide what she’s capable of.

And now, she’s taking that confidence to the national stage.

After being crowned Miss Amazing Utah Junior Teen Queen in April, Shelby is now headed to the National Miss Amazing Summit, where she’ll represent Utah and show the world what her confidence and determination truly look like on stage.

Shelby says she wouldn’t be where she is today without Shriners Children’s.

And we couldn’t be more proud to cheer her on as she takes this next step. 💛

Shelby, we’re rooting for you all the way!

She thought scoliosis would end her dancing career.

At 12 years old, Lecksa thought she'd never dance again.

After being diagnosed with scoliosis and experiencing severe back pain, she worried the activity she loved most might be over.

With care from Shriners Children's Salt Lake City, custom braces, and a lot of determination, Lecksa found her way back to dance. Along the way, she discovered that movement actually helped relieve her pain and build strength.

This year, she achieved a dream she once thought was impossible: making her high school's drill team. 💛
