I think it’s important for practitioners to be real with patients. While part of what I do is release trauma physically from the body, and architecturally try to balance the mechanics, which I believe it’s a big key to healing, I also recognize that it and of itself is not enough when addressing the nervous system. It’s step one.
You can be coming in for adjustments or doing brain retraining therapy exercises and getting five hours of sleep per night, under eating, over exercising and relying on caffeine.
It has to be a bit of change in this: a healthy nervous system is a whole human, it takes partnering with all components mechanically biochemically and emotionally.
We should all be helping and leading people to how to do this. Because the brain is the top. Everything trickles down from the nervous systems responses.
