Community clinics are investing in the tools, technology, and workforce needed to deliver better care, from telehealth and behavioral health services to care coordination and quality improvement.

Prop 44 puts those investments at risk.

We're urging Californians to vote No on Prop 44.

Healthcare policy should be shaped by the providers working on the frontlines every day, not by political mandates.

Prop 44 would limit the ability of community health centers and other healthcare organizations to respond to the needs of California's most underserved communities. Vote NO on Prop 44.

Community Health Centers need the flexibility to expand services and reach more patients, especially in underserved and rural communities.

Prop 44 threatens that ability.

Join us in supporting access to care for all Californians by voting NO on 44.

Federally Qualified Health Centers are held accountable through extensive federal, state, and local oversight, including patient-majority boards.

Prop 44 will limit the ability of community health clinics to deliver quality care.

HCP joined health center advocates from across the country at the National Association of Community Health Centers Fly-In, meeting with federal lawmakers to elevate the importance of community health centers and the patients they serve.

Thank you to Congressman Raul Ruiz, MD, Congressman Scott Peters, California Primary Care Association, and La Maestra Community Health Centers.

Together we're championing policies that strengthen access to high-quality, affordable care in our communities.

This past week, the HCP Family of Companies welcomed our HRSA team to San Diego for a two-day site visit showcasing the progress and impact of our Health Center Controlled Network (HCCN) grant program. We were proud to demonstrate how our teams work together to strengthen the technical capabilities of participating health centers and support better outcomes for the communities they serve.

Special thanks to our partners at Father Joe's Villages and San Ysidro Health for hosting site tours and sharing the incredible work they do for their patients and communities. We are grateful for your partnership and commitment to advancing equitable, high-quality care!

Emergency preparedness goes beyond planning and supplies.

Building skills and strengthening community connections can help communities respond more effectively during emergencies.

Health centers can support resilience by encouraging staff and community members to learn CPR and first aid, participate in preparedness training, and volunteer in local emergency response efforts.

Community well-being starts with caring for the whole person.

Congratulations to Aleta Barthell, Grant Writer at Father Joe's Villages and member of HCP's Peer Fundraising & Development Network, who was recently featured in The San Diego Union-Tribune for leading a creative writing class that helps individuals experiencing homelessness share their stories and find their voice.

Community health centers and organizations like Father Joe's Villages are essential to community well-being, addressing the social, emotional, and practical needs that help people thrive. Aleta's work is a powerful example of that mission in action.
