At our Children’s Wellness Through Growth panel with Boston Children’s Hospital on Martha’s Vineyard, Kevin M. Simon reminded us that healing a child never happens in isolation — it takes the whole family ecosystem. Moms, dads, grandparents, aunties all working together so a child can feel the full range of what it means to be human.

If you’re a parent in this season — however far along the journey — your distress is valid. Asking for help is not a setback. It’s the beginning of your child getting to live fully.
