A major research milestone for Align Surgical!

We're proud to share that our research on feminizing body contouring has been published in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PRS), one of the most respected journals in plastic surgery!

Examining 168 patients, this study contributes valuable clinical evidence to an under-researched area of gender-affirming surgery, helping advance surgical techniques, patient care and future conversations about access.

The entire Align Surgical team is heading to Mexico City for the 29th WPATH Scientific Symposium, November 7–12!

Our surgeons, physician associates and practice manager will be attending, with several team members participating as speakers, moderators and panelists throughout the conference.

We're also proud to highlight two members of our team serving in conference leadership roles:

🔹 Dr. John Henry Pang serves as Co-Chair of the Surgeons’ Pre-Conference, helping advance surgical education and innovation in gender-affirming care.

(FFS) is a highly individualized process, with each surgical plan tailored to a patient's unique facial anatomy and personal goals.

For this patient, Dr. Jedrzejewski performed a combination of procedures, including forehead and orbital contouring, hairline advancement, brow lift, genioplasty, mandibular contouring, lip lift and facial fat grafting.

Together, these procedures can help soften facial features, enhance facial harmony and create a more feminine appearance while preserving the patient's individual characteristics.

We’re proud to share that Dr. Satterwhite and Dr. Nance Yuan were invited to serve as co-speakers at Stanford’s annual Plastic Surgery Oral Board Exam Review Course.

Dr. Satterwhite had the opportunity to teach to preparing for their Oral Board examinations—an important milestone toward board certification.

For Dr. Satterwhite, the opportunity goes beyond preparing surgeons for an exam. It’s about helping ensure future board-certified plastic surgeons have the knowledge and perspective to provide compassionate, respectful and competent care to and gender-diverse patients, even when gender-affirming surgery is not their area of expertise.

We’re grateful to Stanford for the opportunity to contribute to the education of the next generation of plastic surgeons.
