Building a healthier community, together.

Santa Clara Family Health Plan was proud to support the Philippine Medical Society of Northern California’s Community Wellness Fair in San José on October 24. We teamed up with local doctors to provide flu shots and help bring valuable health resources to our community.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, support from parents can play an important role in the health and well-being of LGBTQ+ teens.

Talking about your mental health can be hard, but you do not have to know exactly what to say. Your doctor can be a place to start if you have concerns.

Before your visit, write down your questions, medicines you take, and anything you want to discuss. The National Institute of Mental Health also recommends being open about how you are feeling and asking questions about your care.
