1. Our Get1Help2 program.

Our mission: Help people with disabilities around the world connect and experience We get people with disabilities out into nature on electric assist handcycles for FREE. Our mission is to help people with disabilities around the world connect and experience . As a first step we want to evangelize the joy of electric assist handcycling, which can take a disabled rider and transform them into an "Able Bodied" athlete. As electric assist handcycles are very expensive ($9K-$18K), we want to lower the barrier to experiencing an "able bodied" ride as much as possible. Free 1:1 e-assist handcycle lessons in two locations, San Jose CA and Sonoma CA
2. Free 30 minute online consultations
3. We will help you find, fund, and purchase a handcycle if you in turn become an "Able Bodied Ambassador" and help two others get into handcycling

Our goal is to make “able bodied” experiences accessible and affordable through education and sharing of resources. Able Bodied Inc. will aim to provide information to an international online community of do-it-yourself (DIY) tinkerers, world travelers, and adventurers that will not let their disability stop them from exploring the world without limits. Introducing BORP's new Adaptive Micromobility Program -- a free, low-barrier way to try adaptive mobility devices and attachments that could make getting around the Bay Area easier!

Whether you're looking to get to transit more easily, navigate your neighborhood, or build more independence in your daily routine, we have equipment to try -- and staff to help you find what works. All loans are free, and BORP staff will handle fitting, installation, and training at the Ed Roberts Campus.

Able Bodied Inc just turned two! Come celebrate this milestone with us on Monday June 22. We will screen award winning documentaries Best Day Ever and the Great Divide and serve slice of New York pizza. We will also kick off a summer series of handcycle events sponsored by Borp Adaptive Cycling Center as well as NorCal SCI.
