Brittany Renae Home Hairdresser turned homemaker 🏠
Creating a home with character, collecting old things & making everyday life beautiful.

I graduated from Paul Mitchell the School San Diego and earned my license in 2010. I worked at a Paul Mitchell focus salon for 2 years then moved to a salon where I could practice using different color lines. When my husband I and moved to Orange County, I took a short break while working in an office. I am back in action and eager to build a clientele at Bushire Salon!

Late night marketplace impulse buy! So glad I actually love this framed Spanish tapestry. I definitely had buyers remorse the next morning but seeing it in person makes me so happy! What sold me were the colors. Also, your girl is Spanish so this just seems like the perfect fit for my home!

It will definitely be going upstairs in our bedroom 🤍

Slow evenings, good music, a house full of little signs that we live here, and nowhere else I need to be. 🤎

I’ve made it my mission to make our house more fun for the kids, even if that means letting go of the idea that everything needs to look perfectly styled. A stair slide means the TV stays off a little longer. A swing in the kitchen means the toddler isn’t coloring on the walls while I’m making dinner. 😂

I want our home to be beautiful, but I also want it to be a place where my kids can actually be kids. I think I’m realizing that those two things don’t have to be at odds.

I haven’t been a stylist in over 3 years so I decided it was time to change my name to reflect this new chapter.

Excited to share more personal moments at home as well as my love for antiques, interior design, and homemaking 🤍

Nothing like watching light from the tinsel dancing on the wall. It reminds me of a disco ball 🪩 ✨
The only thing that would make this corner more magical is if the window went all the way up to the ceiling!
