Let's get really real. If we want close, meaningful relationships, conflict is part of the deal. The question isn't whether it will happen. It's how we'll respond when it does. Hurt feelings, anger, and sadness may be inevitable. Whether they lead to forgiveness and bring people closer together depends on how we show up.
Handled well, conflict doesn't just get resolved — it deepens trust and strengthens the relationship in ways that wouldn't have been possible without it.
For many of us, we keep practicing yoga long after we've learned the poses, because the practice itself is nourishing and healing. Resolving conflict works the same way — it's a practice, not a problem you solve once and move past. Friction to Connection borrows that spirit, inviting you to ground when things wobble, soften when tension rises, and stay connected to yourself so you can respond from your heart instead of react from your nerves.
In a welcoming, playful environment, you'll move through a mix of paired exercises, role-play, small-group work, and full-group discussion. Come solo, with a friend, or with your partner — you'll be paired with fellow participants along the way, so no plus-one is required. You'll experiment with new approaches, notice what feels authentic to you, and discover how small shifts in the way you listen and respond can completely change the outcome of a conversation. You'll leave with practical tools you can carry into everyday relationships — and a little more confidence, curiosity, and connection for the conflicts still ahead.
