ASANA ALINGMENT WORKSHOP
One common mistake during Sun Salutations is overextending or placing excessive pressure on the ankles, especially when stepping the foot forward between the hands.
Over time, poor alignment and repeated strain may contribute to discomfort, imbalance, or difficulty in standing poses and cross-legged sitting.
Why does this happen?
- Not paying enough attention to our body's alignment.
- Struggle to step the foot forward between the hands with ease.
If you’ve been struggling with these movements in your Sun Salutations, join us this Sunday for an Asana Alignment Workshop with Dharma Shakti.
With over 14 years of yoga practice, Dharma Shakti is dedicated to exploring proper alignment, mindful movement, and a deeper understanding of asana.
✨ Key Asanas & Practices:
- Sun Salutation — the 12 positions
- Headstand (Sirsasana)
- Shoulderstand (Sarvangasana)
- Triangle Pose (Trikonasana
With deeper awareness, Asana becomes your teacher.
