What happens after you finally say yes?

You don’t receive a generic meal plan, a punishing calorie target or a list of rules that assumes your life happens under perfect conditions.

We start by looking at the full picture.

Your health history. Your current nutrition. Your sleep, movement and training. Your schedule. Your menopausal symptoms. What you’ve already tried, what has worked temporarily and where things repeatedly begin to unravel.

Then we determine what actually deserves your attention first.

For one woman, that may be eating enough protein and building proper meals instead of grazing all day.

For another, it may be getting honest about portions, weekends or alcohol.

Someone else may need a more appropriate training plan, better recovery, greater consistency or help understanding why her current approach is producing so much effort and so little progress.

You don’t need to overhaul everything overnight.

You need the right priorities, a plan you can actually follow and someone paying close enough attention to know when that plan needs to change.

That is what coaching should be.

The goal is not to make you dependent on us. It’s to help you understand your own body, build confidence in your decisions and stop spending another year bouncing between conflicting advice.

Two women can be told their cholesterol looks “normal” and still have different risk pictures.

LDL-C matters.
ApoB adds information about atherogenic particle number.
Lp(a) can reveal a largely inherited risk that a standard lipid panel won’t show.

The 2026 ACC/AHA dyslipidemia guideline includes selective ApoB testing to improve risk assessment and guide therapy. It also recommends measuring Lp(a) at least once.

These markers don’t replace LDL-C or make a high LDL-C irrelevant.

They add context.

That’s why we include both in our expanded Platinum Health bloodwork panel.

“I should be able to do this myself.”

That sentence has kept a lot of very capable women stuck for far longer than a lack of information ever did.

You manage a career, a family, a household and countless other responsibilities. You are accustomed to solving problems and working things out.

So when your weight, health or habits begin to feel harder to manage, particularly during perimenopause or post-menopause, it can be difficult to admit that you may need help.

You tell yourself you already know what to do.

Eat more protein. Strength train. Walk. Sleep better. Eat fewer calories. Be more consistent.

But knowing those things and knowing exactly how to apply them to your own body, health, schedule and circumstances are very different things.

It is also incredibly difficult to be objective about your own habits. We all have blind spots. We all struggle to recognize the patterns we are living inside, and most of us find it difficult to know what needs adjusting when our efforts are not producing the result we expected.

Asking for help is not an admission that you are incapable.

It is the decision that your health matters enough to stop relying on more trial and error.

We hire professionals to help us with our finances, careers, homes and countless other important parts of life. Your health does not need to be the one area in which you prove you can do everything alone.

If “I should be able to do this myself” has kept you watching, learning and waiting for another year, perhaps it is time to do something different.

Some women follow us for years before finally booking a call and when they do they inevitably say “I should have done this sooner.”

It is not always because they are unsure whether they need help. Sometimes they simply do not know what will happen once they click that link.

You do not need to know which PLT program you want. You do not need to have a perfectly defined goal, and you certainly do not need to get yourself “in a better place” before we speak.

We will talk about what has been happening, what you have already tried, what feels different now and what you would genuinely like to change.

For many women, that includes changes connected to perimenopause or post-menopause, but we also look beyond hormones at the full picture; your health, nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, habits and everyday life.

We will explain how our programs work, answer your questions and help you understand which kind of support may be appropriate.

Then we decide whether PLT feels like the right fit.

The first step really is just a conversation.

Most women know menopause can cause hot flashes, fatigue and night sweats.

But what about poor sleep, fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, low mood, joint pain or changes in libido?

How much are your symptoms actually affecting you?

In our Platinum Health program we use a Menopause Symptom Assessment, based on the Greene Climacteric Scale, a clinically used questionnaire for assessing and tracking menopause-related symptoms.

And we are offering it you FREE.

It takes less than 2 minutes and you’ll receive your personalized results straight away.

Comment SYMPTOMS below and we’ll send you the assessment.

You may have followed us for months or even years.

You may already know plenty about protein, calories, strength training, steps and sleep. You may have saved the posts, downloaded the plans and promised yourself that this time you would finally stay consistent.

But knowing what to do and being able to turn it into something that works in your actual life are not the same thing.

And if you are navigating perimenopause or post-menopause, the picture can feel even more confusing. Changes in sleep, appetite, recovery, body composition and overall health can make the strategies you relied on years ago feel less effective.

That does not mean progress is no longer possible. It means your full context matters.

You do not need to become more disciplined before reaching out. You do not need to wait until life calms down. And you certainly do not need to try one more plan on your own first.

That is what coaching is for.

At PLT, we look at the full picture: your health, hormones, habits, nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, schedule and the patterns you may not be able to see from inside your own life.

Then we help you turn what you know into something you can consistently do.

If this sounds uncomfortably familiar, it may be time to stop trying to solve it alone.

If you are ready for someone to look at the full picture and help you move forward, book a call with me through the link below. We can talk about where you are, what has been getting in the way and whether PLT is the right fit for you.

The typical Instagram influencer’s fat-loss advice will get in your head and make this harder than it needs to be.

It’s cortisol. Too much cardio. The wrong kind of cardio. You’re not lifting heavy enough, or you’re doing too many reps.

Tune that nonsense out. Get back to basics, live a happier, healthier life, and watch the scale come down.

The breakthrough wasn’t a new plan.

One of our clients recently saw progress she had been wanting for quite some time.

We didn’t uncover a secret food she needed to eliminate. She didn’t need another supplement, a more punishing workout plan or an entirely new set of rules.

The breakthrough came when she became more honest with herself and with me about what was actually happening.

We looked beyond what she intended to do and examined what her days and weeks really looked like. We talked about the small decisions, inconsistencies and compromises that are easy to dismiss individually but can collectively keep someone from making progress.

This wasn’t about catching her doing something “wrong.” It was about creating enough trust for us to look at the complete picture without defensiveness, guilt or judgment.

Once we could see the real picture, we could stop guessing. We could identify what mattered, make the appropriate adjustments and give those changes enough consistency to work.

And progress followed.

People often assume the primary job of a coach is to hand them a meal plan, calorie target or list of instructions.

Sometimes the most valuable thing we do is help someone see what they cannot see from inside their own habits.

Free information can teach you about protein, fiber, calories and exercise. An app can record what you enter. Medication may reduce hunger or food noise.

None of those things replaces an experienced person who understands your full context, notices the patterns you are missing, asks the right questions and helps you turn what you know into something you can consistently live.

That is the real problem PLT solves.

This client didn’t need more information. She needed clarity, honesty, an objective set of eyes and someone who knew what to do with what we uncovered.

If you are tired of collecting plans but still cannot understand what is keeping you stuck, perhaps enough is enough.

Send us a message when you are ready to look at the full picture together.

Fat loss after 35 doesn’t require a special formula. It does require knowing where to put your effort.

A sustainable calorie deficit is the foundation. Good nutrition and enough protein help you stick with it. Daily movement adds up. Sleep supports your energy, appetite and consistency. Strength training helps preserve muscle and function.

Cardio is valuable for health and fitness. It can support fat loss, but it doesn’t have to be your starting point.

This is a guide to fat-loss priorities, not a ranking of what matters most for your overall health. The best plan is one you can keep doing.

55 & 59. And nowhere near done.

There’s a lot of conversation right now about longevity.

How do we live longer? What should we take? What should we measure? What’s the newest thing that might add years to our lives?

But when we think about longevity, this is really what we want.

We want more life in our years.

We want to travel. Walk for miles around places we’ve never been. Carry our own bags. Climb the stairs. Eat wonderful food. Laugh a lot. Love someone. Have adventures. Keep making plans.

We want bodies strong and healthy enough to let us keep saying yes to our lives.

We’re 55 and 59.

We strength train. We do cardio. We walk a lot. We pay attention to what we eat. We prioritize our health. We’ve both made changes over the years because the things our bodies need now aren’t necessarily the things they needed at 30.

But health doesn’t consume our lives.

It supports them.

And I think that distinction gets lost in an industry increasingly obsessed with longevity hacks, supplements, testing and optimization.

The point of taking care of yourself isn’t to spend the rest of your life thinking about taking care of yourself.

It’s to build a body that allows you to go LIVE it.

That’s also what we want for the people who come to PLT Health.

Not perfection. Not a life organized around macros, workouts and health metrics.

We want you strong. Fit. Metabolically healthy. Well nourished. Confident in your body. Educated enough to understand what matters and empowered enough to keep doing it long after you’ve finished working with us.

Because whether you’re 45, 55, 65 or beyond, there should still be an enormous amount of life ahead of you.

Build the health that lets you live it.

That, to me, is longevity. 💛
