GJV Consulting and Training LLC Helping you scale and sell your business and beat burnout through nervous system regulation

10/12/2026

Those ten minutes in the driveway are the most honest part of your day, because it's the only moment you stop performing.

All day you hold it together, run the meetings, close the sales, answer to everyone. Then you pull into your own driveway, and your body just stops because there's nothing left in the tank.

Here's what should get your attention.

This doesn't level off on its own; it gets more expensive.
It's already in the decisions you make from empty, the wins you can't feel, the worn-out version of you that your family gets at the end of the day, and it keeps widening the gap between the you running the business and the you your business actually needs.

You don't fix this by pushing harder or waiting for things to slow down, you fix it by teaching your body how to come down, starting now.

That's what my FREE toolkit helps you with. Simple nervous system resets, thirty seconds each, no extra energy, the same ones I give the founders I work with.

You'll feel the first shift this week, and you can grab it right here 👇🏼

You keep telling yourself you'll make space for yourself when things calm down.

But “when things calm down” has a funny way of never arriving.

Sometimes you have to intentionally step away from the environment that keeps you in go-mode and give yourself room to reset.

That's what these six days in Costa Rica are for. 🤍

Three rooms left.

You spend so much time being the person everyone else can count on that you forget what it feels like to have someone take care of you.

That's what I want these six days in Costa Rica to feel like.

No running the business. No managing everyone else's needs. No waiting for the next “slow season” to finally take a breath.

Just space to step out of your normal routine and actually be cared for.

If you've been telling yourself “next year” for years, maybe this is the year you stop waiting.

You've taken the massages, you took the trip to Cabo, you booked the long weekends, you tried actually unplugging, and you came back, and within a week you felt exactly as fried as before.

What you're carrying isn't tiredness; it's a nervous system that's been stuck in the on position for so long it forgot how to power down, and you can't sleep your way out of that, or vacation your way out of it, because the second you get back, your body clicks right back into survival mode.

Rest gives you a break from it, but it doesn't change it.

What actually changes it is teaching your body to come down on its own, in small, repeatable ways, until being calm becomes your baseline rather than a place you visit once a year.

That's what I put in my FREE burnout recovery toolkit.
It's a handful of simple nervous system resets, things that take thirty seconds and no extra energy, the same ones I give the founders I work with to start pulling their system out of high alert. You can start feeling the difference this week, not someday.

You've answered the emails, you handled the fires, you made the decisions, you solved everyone else's problems, and somehow it's only Tuesday.

So now you're sitting on the couch staring at absolutely nothing, because the thought of opening your laptop again feels genuinely offensive. 😂 You tell yourself you'll feel better after the weekend, after the next deadline, after this launch, after things finally calm down. Except things don't really calm down when you're the person running the business.

There's always another decision to make, another problem to solve, another person who needs something from you, and eventually your body starts treating all of it like one giant emergency. And that's when burnout starts looking less like “I'm tired” and more like “I genuinely cannot process one more thing right now.” You don't need to wait until you're completely fried to start teaching your system how to come down.

That's exactly why I created my FREE burnout recovery toolkit. It's full of tiny nervous system resets you can use in the middle of your actual life, without adding another hour to your already packed day.

More revenue doesn't always mean more profit.

And this is where I see practice owners get themselves into trouble.
They hit a ceiling, assume the answer is expansion, and start looking at everything they can add.

But if the business isn't keeping enough of what it already makes, adding more on top can make the problem worse.
Before you make your practice bigger, make sure you've made it efficient.

Because there's a huge difference between building a practice that brings in more money and building one that actually leaves you with more money.

If you're not sure which one you're building right now, send me a DM and I'll help you take a closer look.

Most practice owners don't think about payer mix until something goes wrong.
By then, you're already reacting.

You're trying to replace revenue, reshuffle your clinicians, and figure out what the next few months are going to look like, all while still running the practice.

The strongest practices I work with don't wait for that moment.
They build their revenue so one decision from one payer doesn't have the power to throw the whole business off course.

That's what smart growth looks like. Not just making more money, but making the business more resilient as it gets bigger.

If you want to take a closer look at how exposed your practice is, send me a message and we'll figure out where to start.

Okay, here's the thing.... there's a big difference between owning a group practice and owning a business that can actually run without you. 🙃

If everything depends on you being there, making the decisions, filling the calendar, and keeping things moving, you don't really own a business yet.

You're just holding a very demanding job.

The practices that become valuable are built differently. The clinicians are booked, the revenue is predictable, and the business keeps making money even when the owner steps away.

That's the kind of practice I help my consulting clients build, and Medicare is a huge part of making that possible. 👏🏼
Because the goal isn't just to hit $100K months. It's to build something that someone else would actually want to buy.

Send me a DM and let's talk about what your practice needs to get there.

09/23/2026

Okay, be honest… you’ve probably said at least one of these to yourself. 🙃

“I’m not burnt out. I’m just performing at a high level.”
“I already have a therapist, a coach, and a trainer.”
“I don’t have time to step away.”
“I can fix it with a better routine.”
“Slowing down means I’m falling behind.”

I HEAR THIS ALL THE TIME!

Those things can all sound completely reasonable when your entire identity has been built around being the person who can handle everything.

Until you realize you're making decisions from a body that hasn't felt truly off-duty in years. You don't need another productivity hack. You need to teach your system that it doesn't have to stay in high gear all the time.

I made a free toolkit with small resets you can start using even when you don't have the time or energy for one more thing.

Comment COSTA RICA and I'll send it to you. 🤎

Most practice owners don't avoid Medicare because they've actually tried it and decided it doesn't work. 🙃

They avoid it because of everything they've heard about it.

The rates are too low.
It's too confusing.
The audits are scary.
The paperwork is a nightmare.

So they stick with private pay and referrals, keep chasing clients, and wonder why their practice can't seem to grow past the same number.

But Medicare isn't the problem.

Not knowing how to set it up, bill it, and actually read what's happening in your practice is.

That's why I walk my consulting clients through this before we scale. Because once you stop guessing, Medicare stops feeling like this scary thing that's going to blow up your practice and starts becoming one of the things that helps you grow it. 👏🏼

That's how I scaled mine to seven figures.

If you're ready to stop believing the myths and actually understand what Medicare could do for your practice, send me a DM and I'll show you where to start.
