Our members powered through another great pedaling session 🚴‍♂️
💙
One member even struck a fun pose!
Pedaling offers several meaningful benefits for people living with Parkinson’s, including improved mobility, enhanced circulation, and support for balance and coordination. It’s also a wonderful way to boost mood and confidence while staying active.

We’re proud of our members for showing up, working hard, and supporting one another every step of the way.

Our Keiser University intern, Lauren Ostby, kicked off today’s Fine Motor Skills class with a burst of creativity and color. Members crafted bright, colorful paper airplanes and aimed to fly them into matching-colored buckets. What a fun, engaging way to warm up their hands, coordination, and focus.
Lauren’s inventive activities always bring energy, smiles, and meaningful skill building to the room. We’re grateful for her enthusiasm and the joy she brings to our members each week. They always look forward to the “Clean Up” song that she leads at the end of all the activities.

Sometimes the best moments at Parkinson Place Center happen by accident. Today, two of our members unknowingly arrived wearing the exact same color — instantly turning an ordinary Tuesday into Twins Day Tuesday.
Their matching outfits brought smiles, laughs, and a reminder of the wonderful connections that happen here every day. 💙💚
Celebrating community, friendship, and the little surprises that brighten our day! #

Last Friday, our intern and Keiser University student, Lauren Ostby, delivered an outstanding presentation on adaptive tools for individuals living with Parkinson’s.

Lauren walked our members through how each tool works, the benefits they offer, and practical ways to incorporate them into daily life. She also created helpful take away guides so members can easily find and order the tools themselves.

We are grateful for Lauren’s dedication, preparation, and passion for supporting our community. Great job, Lauren!

Our talented Parkinson Place Center members lit up the room with their delightful performance, “The Dapper Days.”
They sang charming songs all about clothing from hats and coats to boots that carried them through life’s most meaningful moments. Between numbers, they shared heartfelt and humorous monologues about the clothing items that brought back cherished memories of days gone by.
It was a joyful celebration of nostalgia, creativity, and community. We’re so proud of our performers for bringing such warmth and personality to the stage.
Bravo to our amazing members for making “The Dapper Days” a show to remember. 💚
