We're looking for a dependable and experienced individual to help grow our program. Requirements:
• PATH CTRI
• Knowledge and experience of running a Therapeutic Riding Program
• Lead, teach and support Therapeutic Riding Sessions
• Assist with horse conditioning and Program Preparation
• Strong horsemanship Skills and Safety -Minded
• Positive, Encouraging and a Team Player
• Flexible working Schedule

For veterans, Operation1Stride provides a safe environment to learn basic horsemanship skills while building confidence, trust and overall well-being.

Through classroom learning and guided interaction with horses, participants learn about equine behavior, observation, grooming, handling and leading while experiencing benefits that can extend far beyond the arena.

Easterseals Southwest Florida is offering FREE autism screenings for children up to 18 years old throughout October.

🗓️ October Screening Dates:
October 8 | 2–5 PM at 📍 APC Pediatrics
October 9 | 10 AM–3 PM at📍 BrainSync
October 12 | 11 AM–2 PM at 📍 Gene Matthews Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties
October 23 | 11 AM–2 PM at 📍 Gene Matthews Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties

Early screening can help families better understand their child’s development and connect with support and resources sooner. Following each screening, families will receive case management, educational materials and guidance to help navigate next steps.

What a wonderful day at Easterseals Reading Pods! Volunteers from Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance Alliance Gives Back spent time reading and connecting with our VPK students at the Lily Preschool. Our little learners were engaged, excited, and all smiles throughout the visit. We are grateful for all that this partnership brings. Thank you to our very special visitors for sharing their time and helping create such meaningful moments for our young learners!
