Gentle Hands Reiki offers clients the opportunity to experience wellness though their body's own healing abilities.

My name is Jessica Sharp and I am a Certified Reiki Master practicing Traditional Japanese Technique Reiki based in Laurel, MD. I am delighted to have completed my Master Certification following a one-year training program and eager to bring the transformative healing power of Reiki to my clients. I named my practice “Gentle Hands” because I find myself saying that a lot to my children, especially my toddler son. As he explores the world around him he is simply bursting with excitement, and sometimes a little too forceful. As I deepen my Reiki practice, I notice that we can all be a little too hard on our bodies and our souls sometimes. It is my hope that my ‘gentle hands’ can both soothe my clients and inspire them to be gentle with themselves.

No but fr fr I am the luckiest…. And shouting from the rooftops again that I am just a facilitator, a narrator, a way station, a supporter while each client’s body does ITS OWN HEALING WORK.

I invite the body to release; whether the body accepts that invitation is up to it. I invite the body to absorb healing frequencies and again, each body has autonomy and choice around whether or not it accepts.

That’s why I absolutely LOVE positive feedback and 5-star reviews, but I always will hand the power and congratulations back to where it belongs, which is with the client themselves. You are the brave ones. You are the powerful ones. I stand in awe to be able to walk alongside each of you on your unique and beautiful healing journeys.

An incredible day at Sparkle Fest, hosted by Perilla Wellness! I was so honored to join and provide the closing sound bath. Have you checked out Perilla Wellness in Arnold, MD yet? It feels like a dream - I highly recommend them!

This was my first outdoor sound bath and I learned a lot. I also always love holding an “Instrument Petting Zoo” for kids (and grown-ups!) who attend!

Feminine Fire is a collective experience devoted to honoring, expressing, and releasing women’s sacred rage through ritual, energetics, and somatics.

Women have never been permitted anger. They call it hysteria. They call it PMS. They call it Melodrama and Moodiness. History has a long memory for punishing women who refused to stay quiet, and most of us inherited the lesson whether we were taught it directly or not.

This is a day to call rage what it actually is: sacred, useful, and yours to reclaim on your path to sacred sovereignty. We will gather at Wishing Star Farm, on indigenous Piscataway Conoy lands that are used to cradling what is heavy.

What the Day Holds

🔥Collective Altar-Building
🔥Teaching on sacred rage, emotional anatomy, goddess ontology, and feminine power
🔥Somatic practices to release what’s stored in the body
🔥Guided rage release: screaming, destroying, breaking what needs breaking to create space for more (gentle options held and offered for survivors of violence)
🔥Calling in joy and sacred sovereignty
🔥Sound bowl and nervous system aftercare to ground you before you leave crowned.
🔥Nourishing, catered breakfast, lunch, and snacks, including intentional spices for calling in fire to the body.

Oh, did I say BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN and JOAN BAEZ and not mention that the set includes TOM. FU***NG. MORELLO?!?!?!?! And that DAVE MATTHEWS just came out to sing Fortunate Son with all of them? Because maybe I forgot to mention that. 🤯🤯🤯🤯☠️

And also that the fu***ng FOO FIGHTERS played before this? I am ded. ☠️
