Our Huntington High School Student Council sophomores recently gathered for a productive meeting filled with great ideas, teamwork, and planning for an exciting school year. Students discussed upcoming service projects, student recognition, Trunk or Treat, the Sickle Cell Campaign, Homecoming, and more!

A special thank-you to Starbucks on Mansfield Road for welcoming our students and allowing us to hold our meeting at your location. We truly appreciate your hospitality and support! ☕️🤎

This marked the Class of 2027’s final first-day sunrise as high school students. This is such a special group, and I am incredibly proud of the young men and women they are becoming. I’m excited to see what this year has in store for them as they continue their journey toward senior year.

Class of 2028, your future is bright—keep rising, keep shining, and make every moment count!

Thank you to Pastor Gregory Shyne, Pastor Antonio Dixon Sr., Mr. Carlton Hamilton, and Mrs. Leslie Hammond for coming out and pouring into our students. A special thank-you also goes to Kesha McClendon, Paula Ellison and Tiffany King-Franklin for helping organize and support this meaningful event. 💙
