Cardio Barre is an hour where women can take up space, be in their bodies, and feel safe doing it. It’s an hour of connecting with the strength that lives in us, and the strength we create when we’re together.

In the room and outside of it, I hope you always know that you matter. Your body matters. Your voice matters. Your safety matters. Your joy matters.

And while our class is not therapy, I believe deeply in the healing power of movement.
The kind of movement we do in class supports our mental, emotional, and physical well-beings, as well as nervous system regulation. This is why I make the playlists that I do too, filled with high-bpm songs from all over the world, because it activates neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine (playlist ⬇️), boosting our mood and sense of calm.

If this feels like something you’ve been needing, come join us. You’re allowed to be angry, sad, disappointed, disturbed. You’re also allowed to be happy, powerful, unafraid, confident and strong.
You belong here. You are welcome here. And you never have to carry everything alone.

I pray my classes always feel like a place where you can feel strong enough to express, soft enough to feel, and supported enough to keep going.

Save women. Protect women. Appreciate women. And keep making spaces where women can feel safe, strong, and free.

My heart’s felt heavy since last week, but my kids asked me to bake a cake today. I needed a reminder that it’s still ok to celebrate the good things too. Thank God for my babies 💕 and turns out, today’s the first annual International Barre Day. Aren’t we blessed to be in the barre squad ✨

Save the date! ✨A new, beautiful facility for wellness and fitness is coming to Silver City. The owner, Isaac, is bringing together members of the community for the grand opening. There will be a free pop-up Barre class with me at 1PM, you don’t want to miss 💖💪🏽

Cardio Barre is more than just a workout. It’s a community of powerful ladies! 💖

Every Wednesday at 5:30PM Lotus Center fills with a beautiful variety of women from different walks of life. It’s an hour of empowerment, strengthening, laughter and sweaty-good times.

While it is favored amongst the girlies, the fellas are welcome too! The occasional dad, uncle, brother and grandpa have been in the room.
Don’t let the pink fool you. As Ed once said, “it ain’t for sissies!” 😆🪷
