Day 8 of a 30 day painting challenge. The prompt is Haunted House and I know a thing or two about those!! If you read my book “The Haunted Guesthouse, A True Story” then you know why Charles Manson is the subject of my painting. If not, then crack a book;)

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Thanks Jen for trusting me with this symbol of strength. We are with our sisters in survival. Please be vigilant in screening yourself and being your own health advocate.

Here are some details:
• Prevalence: About 1 in 8 women (13%) in the United States will develop breast cancer in their lifetime.
• Impact: It is the most common non-skin cancer in American women and a leading cause of cancer death.
• Survival: When detected early at localized stages, the 5-year survival rate is near 100%.
