Your glucose was normal. But did they check your insulin?
Glucose can look completely fine for years while insulin resistance quietly builds in the background. By the time glucose becomes elevated, insulin resistance has often been present for a decade.
To get the real picture of what’s happening with blood sugar, I look at:
→ Fasting insulin
→ A1C
→ HOMA-IR
→ Triglycerides
→ HDL
→ C-Reactive Protein
One marker isn’t enough. Patterns across all of them tell the real story.
If your routine labs only checked glucose, you may not have the whole picture. 🌿
