Yes, sometimes!

After deeper or more focused work, mild soreness can happen as your body responds to the massage.

Think “worked out,” not “worked over.”

What’s normal:
✔️ Mild soreness for 24–48 hours
✔️ Feeling less tension

What’s not:
✖️ Sharp pain
✖️ Significant bruising
✖️ Pain that persists or gets worse

Massage therapy should never feel like too much. Every body is different, and our therapists adjust their pressure and techniques to meet your needs.
