❤️ A Personal Update from Hometown Pediatrics ❤️
We wanted to share a little of what has been going on behind the scenes, as we know many of you may have questions about our recent limited appointment availability and office closures.
Over the past several weeks, Heather has been navigating some unexpected health challenges following a miscarriage. Unfortunately, the recovery process has been more difficult and prolonged than expected, and we have needed to take additional time to focus on healing and ensuring she recovers fully.
As many of you know, Hometown Pediatrics is a small, independently owned practice, and Heather is the sole provider. When she is unable to work, temporary closures are unavoidable. These decisions are never made lightly, and we understand they can be frustrating and inconvenient for families.
We sincerely apologize for the disruption and ask for your patience, grace, and understanding as we navigate this difficult time. With this being said, there will be no additional appointments available the remainder of this week (10/28 and 10/29). We will have limited availability over the next few weeks as we progress through the next steps in Heather's recovery.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support. Pregnancy and infant loss are experiences that so many families quietly navigate, often without others ever knowing the grief they carry. While this is a deeply personal experience for our family, we know we are not alone, and our hearts go out to every family who has walked a similar road. God is aware of each of us; we know this and have felt Him near during this time.
Our family truly appreciates this community and the trust you place in us to care for your children. Please call the office with additional questions or concerns ❤️
