Manage Your Pain Monday!
Typing, gripping, cooking, scrolling... your wrists work hard all day without a break. 💻🍳
If you are starting to feel stiffness or a dull ache in your wrists, try this "Reverse Prayer" stretch to give your forearms some breathing room:
1️⃣ Bring the backs of your hands together in front of your chest (fingers pointing down).
2️⃣ Lower your hands down toward your waist until you feel a gentle stretch along the top of your wrists and forearms.
3️⃣ Hold for 20 to 30 seconds. Do not bounce!
OT Pro-Tip: Occupational Therapists look at how you use your hands daily. To prevent wrist strain, try to keep your wrists in a neutral, straight line when typing—avoid bending them sharply up or down!
🔗 Share this with a coworker who is always typing away!
