some in progress paintings, trying to paint more & care less lately.
as much as i enjoy painting i don’t think im very good at it and i sure do despise being bad at something. i pick apart everything i create. often to the point of hating it so much i never finish. I don’t want to share my paintings but i want to share on Instagram.
I think im entering a phase of giving up the pressure i put on myself to have a ‘curated’ feed, of posting only completed work that meets my strict criteria to be seen by other people & rather just posting to post. as i think of the future i envision for myself in this field I want to be more of a multidisciplinary artist than strictly tattooer. that means showing more content that is not related to tattooing but feels authentic and not forced. being booked with tattoos gives me the excuse to not have to post on ig but if I want to create physical art products in the future i gotta step up my game. idk guys im rambling but anyways to sum it up im planning a transition to a more consistent ig presence with entirely inconsistent themes of content that reflect my life. painting, crafts, photos, gardening, and of course, tattoos.
