🥃 Bourbon Night Raises More Than $130,000 for Graduate Medical Education
What an incredible evening! The WVU Medicine Thomas Foundation welcomed approximately 300 guests to its 6th Annual Bourbon Night with the Foundation on September 18 at the beautiful J.Q. Dickinson Salt-Works in Malden, West Virginia.
From an exclusive VIP bourbon reception and a three-course bourbon-paired dinner from Charleston’s 1010 Bridge Restaurant & Catering, to live music from The Fort Hillbillies and a special visit from the Itty Bitty Therapy - Horses Bringing Happiness, Hope and Healing, the sold-out event celebrated the very best of West Virginia hospitality and community spirit. 💙
Most importantly, the evening raised more than $130,000 to support the establishment of a Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program at WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals.
These funds will help create opportunities to train physicians right here in southern West Virginia, supporting the development and retention of future physicians while helping meet the healthcare needs of communities across the region.
We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors, partners, guests, volunteers, and Foundation team for making this memorable evening possible. Together, we’re investing in the future of healthcare in West Virginia. 🩺❤️
