🌱 ALL PRAISES TO THE MOST HIGH! 🌱
It is truly an honor and a humbling experience to be invited to serve as a Keynote Speaker at Georgia Tech and share a message that reaches far beyond the garden.
A special thank you to my sister The Liggins Family 💕 and the Georgia Tech staff for creating the opportunity for me to educate and inspire students on the importance of agriculture, food sovereignty, sustainability, leadership, and community development.
But more importantly, we will explore a principle that I believe is foundational:
What we cultivate in the soil is a reflection of what we must cultivate in people.
A seed requires the right environment, nourishment, consistency, patience, and care to reach its full potential. So do people. So do families. So do communities.
This moment is a great honor, and I do not take it lightly. I am grateful to witness the continuation of work that was declared long before this opportunity arrived.
This is not the beginning. This is the continuation.
What was planted is growing.
What was cultivated is producing.
And what was promised is being fulfilled.
I look forward to sharing this message with the next generation of leaders and demonstrating how agriculture can cultivate not only healthy food, but healthy people, stronger communities, and a more sustainable future.
