Busting chiropractic fears, once again! Real life story:

A middle aged woman came in with severe hip pain. She told me the laundry list of things she has tried to get relief. When I asked about if she had been to a chiropractor, she said she had a bad experience and had some PTSD from the last time she was adjusted. She was not lying, the tears built up in her eyes. She just wanted to feel better.
"I will take all the fear out for you," I said, as I showed her my adjusting tool- the Activator, "there will not be pushing, twisting, or cracking, but you will get a chiropractic adjustment and I think it will help you a lot."
She was relieved, and laid down on the table.
Fast forward to her follow-up visit (today) and she felt so much relief! "It is the little things that make all the difference," she said. And she told me how she noticed she was able to sit for over an hour with her dad and didnt have any pain.

Real Story: A young mom came into the clinic yesterday. She had never been adjusted before, but she knew she needed to do something about her terrible back pain. She said it, "just hurt everywhere." I could tell by her posture but also by her eyes, she was telling the truth. So I did the regular chiro testing and when it was time for her adjustment I suggested we use a gentler method because 1) she had never been adjusted, 2) she had a lot of tenderness, and 3) I could tell she was a little scared.

Yes, there were a lot of misalignments in her spine. I had a lot of work to do. Neither of us spoke during the treatment. After I got done aligning her, I could tell her breathing changed and she was physically more relaxed. I asked if she fell asleep, but she laughed and said, "just about!"

She stood up and rolled her shoulders back and said, "wow that feels a lot better already."
"I am glad you came in today!" I said.
"I would have come in sooner but I was scared," she said.
"Nothing scary here." 😊

We can usually make same day or next day appointments!
