Ritual Cape Cod

10/20/2026

A little community magick landed at Ritual today. ✨

We purchased a collection of stones from a local shop owner who recently retired, and together we found an arrangement that felt good to both of us.

She exchanged her rocks 🪨 for paper 💵, we took some scissors to the prices ✂️, and our community gets some beautiful stones at accessible prices through our mindful thrift program.

Rock, paper, scissors. Everybody wins. 😂

These are unused stones from her shop’s inventory, now here and ready to become part of your practice.

Our one ask: these stones are for your personal practice, so please leave them out of commercial projects and resale inventory. Keeping them available for personal use helps us offer more people an affordable way to bring a little magic home, which we could all use right now, for reals.

The photo is just what I had time to sort thru today, more to be added throughout the week!

Come have a look. Your next pocket rock might be waiting. ✨

P.S. yes, we buy used book, decks, and more! And we will be adding to our mindful thrift program... we're expanding into stones, tools, and more. Details coming soon.

Omg I forgot to post this yesterday 😳 😅🫠🙃

Crystal week has arrived, which is great news if you’ve been exercising restraint and terrible news if you’ve been making eye contact with the same specimen every time you come in.

From Oct 13–18, spend $75 on crystals and save $10, or spend $150 and save $20.

Maybe this is the week you finally bring home the big weird one.

Maybe you build a little army of smaller ones.

Maybe you say “I’m just going to look” and immediately make yourself a liar.

Either way, wegotchu.

In store only at Ritual, Oct 13–18.

Sunshine, birds, and good people had me experiencing genuine human emotion???

Please excuse this deeply embarrassing lapse in my usual personality. I expect to be back to my regularly scheduled sarcasm and general witchery shortly. 🖤

Got the writing itch?

Maybe you have a story idea you can’t stop thinking about. Maybe you haven’t written creatively in years. Maybe you’ve been working on something for months and hit a wall. Or maybe you’ve never really considered yourself a writer, but there’s something in you that wants to try.

This workshop is for you.

Join professional writer, Prof. Lindsay Gurka for a hands-on intuitive creative writing workshop designed to help you get words on the page, strengthen your storytelling, and connect with other people who love to write.

Each workshop will explore a different genre, giving us a chance to look at the craft choices that make that kind of story work, then experiment with them in our own writing.

This Month: Horror

For October, we’re getting spooky.

We’ll explore some of the building blocks of great horror writing, including atmosphere, setting, character, imagery, tension, and the choices writers make to create a feeling that sticks with the reader.

We’ll talk about the stories and authors you love, look at what they’re doing on the page, and then give you time to put some of those ideas into practice.

From there, we’ll move into a supportive roundtable workshop where Lindsay will guide you through giving and receiving useful feedback focused on story and craft, not spelling, punctuation, or whether you used a comma correctly.

No professional writing experience is required.

You do not need to be published.

You do not need a finished manuscript.

You don’t even need to confidently call yourself a writer yet.

If you have the writing itch, you have the writing itch.

What to Bring:
-Bring a fully charged laptop, tablet, notebook, or whatever you prefer to write with.

-An idea, a concept, an inkling, a plot bunny, or the urge to write a story.

-Participants may also submit up to two double-spaced pages of their own writing before the workshop so Lindsay can come prepared with feedback. Please submit these to [email protected] .

When: October 23rd 10am - 1pm
