We offer a wide range of services including General, Thoracic, Plastic, OB&Gyn, Pediatric, Pediatric orthopedic, ENT, Head & Neck surgeries, Ophthalmology, Urology, Hematology and Oncology, Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Critical Care among others. It is our dream to bridge the gap of ethnic, political, and religious differences.

Another team is off to change lives! OI’s newest international team, Team Hungary, has made it to Ethiopia for their inaugural mission.

The team will deliver free, specialized procedures, including reconstruction after severe burn, head and neck surgery, breast surgery, obstetrical complications, and general surgery. Stay tuned to follow along!

TEAM SPOTLIGHT: On Team Cleft Repair's second trip to Laos in March, they provided dental and reconstructive surgery to 55 patients with cleft lip, palate, and other facial deformities. This was the team's second visit to Houaphanh Province to provide life-changing cleft surgeries in one of the most underserved and impoverished regions of Laos. And another one! Operation International’s Canadian chapter has finished their mission in Ecuador, completing 55 total cases for those in need. 💙

The 46 major surgeries and nine minor procedures included gynecological care, breast surgery, and more. This is Team Canada’s third mission and first trip to Ecuador, where they worked from Hospital Gineco-Obstétrico y Pediátrico de Nueva Aurora “Luz Elena Arizmendi” in Quito.

That’s a wrap! Team Michigan has finished their mission in Guatemala, completing 64 cases in one week for patients who traveled near and far. 💙

The week of surgeries included cleft palate and lip repair, tumor removal, and more, each of which brought life-changing results and relief to those in need. Great job Team Michigan!

Some more action shots from Team Michigan in Guatemala! Even short one volunteer and with two other volunteers who aren’t feeling well, the team performed another 14 cases on Wednesday for patients in need. This dedication and teamwork has brought their total for the trip so far to 43 cases. 💙
