“Your vote can change the way things are.”

Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3, is Election Day!

At NNCIL, we believe every person deserves to have a voice in decisions that affect their lives and communities. Voting is one important way to participate in those decisions.

If you're planning to vote tomorrow, here are a few reminders:
đź—ł Check your polling location and hours
đź—ł Review your sample ballot
đź—ł Make transportation arrangements if needed
đź—ł Ask election workers about accessible voting options and assistance if you need them
đź—ł Your voice matters, and your right to vote matters.

Fall Back! Daylight Saving Time Ends Today!

Did you remember to turn your clocks back? Daylight Saving Time ended at 2:00 am this morning, Sunday, November 1, giving us an extra hour!

As we settle into shorter days and longer evenings, it's a good time to take care of a few things around the house:
⏰ Check the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
⏰ Update clocks on appliances and assistive technology devices that don't adjust automatically
⏰ Review your emergency supplies and replace expired items
⏰ Adjust medication reminders and daily routines if needed
⏰ Make sure outdoor walkways and entrances are well-lit as evenings get darker

Enjoy that extra hour!
