This year's World Alzheimer's Awareness theme is, "The Earlier You Know, The More You Can Do: A Dementia Diagnosis Matters."

Plasma biomarkers are currently one of the earliest methods of detection of amyloid pathology, but as is common with recently approved test methodologies, there are a lot of questions surrounding how to interpret the tests, which patients should be tested, and when. To answer some of these questions, Medavera brought together three experts in a free CME/CE program for physicians, nurses, and laboratory professionals to provide education on the use of plasma biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease in neurology and primary care.

Join us for a new webinar on the use of plasma biomarkers as part of the Alzheimer's disease (AD) clinical diagnostic pathway for neurology and primary care.

Dr. Abhay Moghekar of Johns Hopkins and Drs. Jeffrey Burns and Jennifer Woodward of University of Kansas Medical Center will provide information on the development, use, and interpretation of recently FDA-cleared plasma biomarker tests to shorten the timeline from clinical symptoms to diagnosis, providing opportunity to treat early for the largest impact on disease progression.

Medavera does not utilize AI to develop our content because of the risks associated with inaccuracies, bias, and incomplete information.

Due to these same issues, ACCME has produced guidance for the responsible use of AI in accredited programs. While the accreditor suggests certain uses of AI may be relevant for planning, evaluation, and organizational purposes, the message is clear that if AI is used to develop program content, the new guidance should be implemented and documented.
