✨This is a long post and worth the read. 🫶 I want to share a little more of my story.
A friend recently created a short video about why I became a sound healer, and it got me thinking about the story behind Crystal Bath Company and the woman behind the crystal singing bowls.
I didn’t set out in life with a plan to become a sound healer, I didn’t event know it was a thing. I just heard the call.
At the time, I had recently left my career in medical sales. After working in the medical field, I was beginning to see things within the healthcare industry that no longer aligned with my values. Before medical sales, I worked in the operating room as a surgical technologist. Before and alongside those careers, I was a bartender, a waitress, a manager at Cardinal’s Nation and a salesperson in several call centers. I’ve always been someone who could juggle multiple jobs and figure out how to make things work.
For much of my life, I identified as a single mother. Looking back now, I can see that I had a beautiful community of people helping me raise my son. But at the time, I was deep in hyper-independence. I knew what it felt like to be a young mother and young adult without a roof over my head, and I was determined to make sure we never experienced that again.
I spent years in survival mode, working hard, carrying responsibility, and making sure there was always a way forward. I know the exact moment when my life began to change direction.
It was when I fully accepted Jesus Christ back into my heart and into my life as an adult. It happened in a place most people would never expect: the storage room of a surgical facility in Memphis, Tennessee. With a women who a since crossed, Vicky Haywood. 🪽
That moment became a turning point in my life. It was deeply personal, and it marked the beginning of a different relationship with my faith, myself, and the path I was walking.
Looking back and from above, I can see how much of my journey, including the unexpected path that eventually led me to sound healing, has been shaped by that relationship with God. I didn’t know then where that path would lead me, or that one day I would create Crystal Bath Company. I simply knew that something within me had changed.
I believe it’s important to know the person behind the title. Whether it’s your sound healer, spiritual guide, general practitioner, surgeon, eye doctor, or dentist, the person matters. Two people can hold the same credentials and approach their work from entirely different places. Their experiences, values, intentions, and beliefs shape how they show up for the people who trust them.
I’ve come to realize that I don’t approach my sound healing business the way many traditional business models taught me to. I’m 100% ok with that. I actually find great joy in trail blazing a new path in this venture.
Playing crystal singing bowls, creating essential oil blends paired with crystals, and incorporating the Reiki training that was part of my journey are things that feel deeply aligned with who I am. I didn’t grow up dreaming of this career. I didn’t set out to train for it. I didn’t even know this was an option for my life.
I don’t believe healing should be marketed as a guarantee, packaged as a promise, or sold as something another person can give you if you simply buy the right product or attend the right session.
I believe our bodies have an incredible capacity for healing, and that God has provided us with so much within the natural world to support our well-being. I believe in caring for our bodies, tending to our minds, and reconnecting with the wisdom of our souls. I also believe you are your own guru. You are your own best healer.
My role isn’t to convince you that you need me to be whole. My role is to create space, share what I’ve learned, offer the tools that have supported me, and encourage you to become more connected with yourself as well as Mother Earth and the stars in the sky.
That is why I created Crystal Bath Company.
I knew how much I needed sound in my life. I knew I wanted essential oils to be part of my everyday experience. I understand the significance crystal technology holds in our society. These weren’t things I wanted to keep to myself. They were things I felt called to share.
I’m shifting my focus toward sharing more of what I’ve been learning, the sound experiences I’ve been creating, and the products I’ve thoughtfully developed. For a long time, I spent much of my energy showcasing other people’s businesses and opportunities while treating my own as an add-on. I’m ready to give the work I’ve been called to do the space it deserves.
Not because I have all the answers. Not because I believe my way is the only way. Not because I believe I can heal anyone else. Because I know what it feels like to need support, to search for something that helps you feel more at home in your own body, and to find tools that become meaningful parts of your life.
I’m here to share those tools, create those spaces, introduce you to the spaces I have found and encourage you to trust yourself along the way. This is the heart behind Crystal Bath Company.
Rooted. Regulated. Restored. ✨
Thank you for being here, for supporting me, for cheering me on, for showing up for me, for witnessing this next chapter, and for allowing me to share more of the woman behind the bowls. 💗
