Wedding planning has officially become a full-time hobby I never applied for.

Between the 27 open tabs, Pinterest convincing me I need another outfit, and suddenly having very strong opinions about details I didn’t even know existed six months ago, I’ve had to remind myself to enjoy this season instead of constantly trying to perfect it.

There’s something so exciting about planning a wedding, but it’s also surprisingly easy to get caught up in everything you could do.

So I’m making a conscious effort to make the decisions, close the tabs, go on dates with my fiancé, and enjoy the fact that I get to marry my favorite person very soon.

To all the brides who have ever spiraled over a detail nobody else will probably notice, I get it.

What’s one thing you wish you’d cared less about when planning your wedding? 💗

So many symptoms get looked at one at a time when the combination is usually what makes them more useful.

Heavy periods mean something different when energy is also dropping.

Longer cycles matter more when acne and cravings are changing too.

Reflux, early fullness, and upper abdominal bloating point me in a different direction than lower-GI symptoms alone.

That is why I care so much about patterns, timing, and what changed together.

It helps us decide what deserves a closer look and keeps the plan from turning into another round of guessing.

I’m not trying to turn the weeks before my wedding into a fitness sprint.

I want my training to support the way I actually want to feel walking into that day: strong, energized, confident, and fully present for everything happening around me.

For me, that means matching intensity to my cycle, keeping strength work in, using Pilates and yoga for posture and mobility, walking because it genuinely makes me feel better, and fueling enough to recover from what I’m asking my body to do.

I care just as much about how I feel the next morning as I do during the workout itself. If I’m sleeping worse, dragging through the day, or feeling depleted, that is useful feedback.

I want my training to add to this season, not take from it.

There is so much women carry that never makes it into the conversation.

Painful periods.
Fertility struggles.
Pregnancy loss.
Waiting on results.
Hormonal shifts that make you feel unlike yourself. Showing up to work, taking care of everyone else, and continuing on while something heavy is happening in the background.

I think one of the most powerful things we can do for each other is leave more room for what we cannot see.

A little more grace.
A little less assuming.
A little more honesty about how much can exist behind “I’m fine.”

You were never meant to carry all of this quietly.

✨If you’re ready to finally feel heard and understand what your body has been trying to tell you, comment “SHAPE” and I’ll send you our process.

A lot of hormone changes do not show up as one dramatic symptom. They show up in the little shifts you start writing off as “just life.”

You tolerate heat differently, your appetite changes, your usual routine suddenly feels harder, your body wants more recovery, or you notice the same random change during the same part of your cycle every month.

None of that means something is automatically wrong. What matters is whether those changes are new for you, whether they keep repeating, and whether several of them are starting to move together.

That is the kind of context I care about, because sometimes the most useful hormone clues are hiding in the things you barely think twice about.

Six weeks out, and I’m keeping my skin prep a lot more intentional than complicated.

The biggest shift for me has been remembering that skin health is not just about what I put on my face. Gut health, nutrient status, hydration, sleep, food quality, and consistency all matter too.

I’m still sticking with my tried-and-true routine from The Stem Company | Consortia Factors® by Dr Nathan Newman MD, but I’m putting just as much focus on supporting my body internally so my skin has what it needs to look and feel its best.

That feels a lot more sustainable than trying to create a last-minute glow with a bunch of new products or treatments.

✨Comment “SHAPE” and I’ll send you my approach to glowing from the inside out.

Your 30s can be a strange season because life often gets busier at the exact same time your body starts asking for more intention.

The routines you used to get away with may feel less forgiving. Sleep matters more. Recovery matters more. Stress shows up faster. Your appetite can change, your cycle can feel different, and things that once felt easy may suddenly require more support.

That does not mean you need to overhaul everything.

It usually means paying closer attention to what has changed and responding to the body you have now instead of forcing the routine that worked five or ten years ago.

There is a lot of power in recognizing those shifts early and adjusting before your body has to get louder.

Hormone support gets complicated quickly when every symptom turns into another supplement, another restriction, or another thing to track.

I would rather simplify the picture first.

That means looking at the patterns that repeat, making sure ovulation is actually part of the conversation, checking foundational markers that can shape how hormonal symptoms feel, and addressing things like digestion and bowel regularity before layering in more.

It also means using testing with intention, changing one or two things at a time, and building routines that are realistic enough to stay consistent with.

The goal is not to do more for your hormones. It is to understand them well enough to know what actually deserves your attention.

✨Comment “HORMONES” and I’ll send you the process I use to simplify hormone support and figure out what your body actually needs.
