“Just a few months ago, my life took an unexpected turn when I suffered a mini stroke that affected my speech. Something I had done my entire life suddenly became difficult and frustrating. With the help of the incredible staff at Bassett Physical Therapy, especially through speech therapy, I began working to regain not only my speech but also my confidence. 💪
The encouragement, patience, and support I received from the BPT staff made a tremendous difference in my recovery. They celebrated the small victories with me and continued encouraging me through the difficult moments. Physical Therapy Month: Meet Gretchen!💪🎉
Gretchen came to BPT after having a knee replacement earlier this year. After working on her recovery, she transitioned to focusing on her balance. Along the way, her opposite hip began to hurt from compensating while her knee was healing. Now, she’s working toward feeling stronger, moving with less pain, and building confidence in her everyday activities! 💪
When asked why she loves coming to BPT, Gretchen shared that our physical therapy team is motivational, encouraging, knowledgeable, and professional! 🥰 She says every visit is fun, and our therapists make sure each session is tailored to meet her daily needs.
Looking ahead, Gretchen hopes to get in and out of her vehicle without hip pain, walk her dog with more confidence, and join the YMCA to make exercise a regular part of her routine! 🐶🏋️‍♀️
