Strength is built upon how you face resistance in your life. The same is true for your workouts. Do you lean into the challenge, allowing yourself to grow and learn from it? Or do you keep taking the easiest path? The choice is yours. But we’re not weak as we age because we’re aging. We’re weak because we’re not facing the resistance.

Why do I call them Queens? Because they are ruling their health and fitness. It’s not easy. They know it will always be something. They keep showing up anyway. As a working single mom of one, then two boys I was too busy. And it has not slowed down. Time will pass either way. Do you want to keep waking up tired and out of shape? ⚠️Warning: unpopular opinion here. Exercise is not a primary tool for weight loss. It is actually a very necessary part of taking care of the only body you have. It is medicine. I love it when nurses tell me my blood pressure is normal. I’ll be 51 in two months and I’m so grateful to be disease and medication free. Based on my genetics I should be a diabetic. There are/were over 9 people with diabetes in my family. This is why I do it. Looking good is the icing on the cake. Start today, it’s never too late.
