We're thrilled to kick off our annual Ride event this May in honor of ALS Awareness Month! Join us as we spread awareness and support for a cause close to our hearts. 💙

Third-grade students from Burr Intermediate School took an active role in the fight against ALS on Monday, March 10. They welcomed our School Presentation Team, Desi and April, and learned about ALS and how they can help us find a cure. Their efforts will continue in May, during ALS Awareness Month, when ALS Ride For Life visits Burr Intermediate School for our annual 'Ride' event. At that time, the students will proudly present us with a check from the donations they worked hard to raise throughout the school year.

ALS Ride For Life is proud to announce that Jeremy Cohn will be honored at our 28th Annual Honoree Recognition Benefit.

Jeremy's journey with ALS Ride For Life began in 2005 when he tragically lost his father to ALS after a two-year battle. This personal loss inspired Jeremy to join our organization after he saw a News 12 segment featuring our founder, Christopher Pendergast. Since he began volunteering, Jeremy's involvement with ALS Ride For Life has grown tremendously. He started as a volunteer board member in September 2021 and became our Chairman in August 2024.

Utilizing his exceptional skills as a marketing professional, Jeremy has greatly improved our communications with valued donors and sponsors. He also serves on the committees for our two largest fundraisers: the Annual Golf Outing and the Annual Honoree Recognition Benefit.

We are proud to honor Jeremy with the Christopher Pendergast Legacy Award for his unwavering dedication to raising awareness of ALS and his commitment to securing funds needed to support ALS families while we work toward finding a cure.

ALS Ride For Life proudly announces that Christine Moossmann will be honored at our 28th Annual Honoree Recognition Benefit.

Christine’s journey with ALS Ride For Life began during a hiatus from her marketing career in photographic products. In 2017, she was hired as a part-time social worker, marking her first introduction to ALS patients and their caregivers. This experience ignited her passion for the ALS Ride For Life team and the ALS community.

As a social worker, Christine dedicated herself to administering the various programs offered by ALS Ride For Life, visiting ALS families in their homes, and leading their Monthly Caregiver Support Group. Her commitment was evident in the meaningful connections she formed with people living with ALS (pALS) and their families, which benefited everyone involved, including herself. Although she had to leave the organization in 2018 for personal reasons, she remained connected to the cause.

Currently, Christine is the Marketing Director for SIGMA Corporation, promoting products that capture significant moments in our lives. Since 2020, she has been volunteering with ALS Ride For Life, leading the Monthly Caregiver Support Groups virtually, and she hopes to continue this important work. Her passion for volunteering demonstrates her ongoing commitment to the ALS community.
