If s*x hurts, you've probably been told to push through it, relax, or have a glass of w**e. Those suggestions may not address what’s contributing to your discomfort. Painful intimacy can be connected to pelvic floor muscle tension, scar tissue, or a nervous system on high alert, and a pelvic health professional can help explore what may be contributing. That's exactly what pelvic floor therapy addresses. You don't have to keep paying the price.

DM me "INTIMACY" or book through the link in bio.

Negative does not mean imaginary. It means the investigation needs to widen.

When burning continues after a negative urine culture, repeating the same answer can leave you feeling dismissed. Most people assume burning often points to an infection, but pelvic floor tension, irritated nerves, bladder sensitivity, or hormonal tissue changes can create similar symptoms. A urine culture helps evaluate bacteria while a pelvic assessment examines guarding, coordination, and sensitivity.

Here is your next step: 1. Track when symptoms flare. 2. Notice bladder, bowel, exercise, and intimacy patterns. 3. Ask for an assessment that considers more than infection. Relief starts when the right system gets assessed instead of your symptoms being minimized.

You slowly adjusted your life around the nearest bathroom. That was a survival strategy. Not a solution.

You know every restroom between home. Work. The gym. And school pickup. Going just in case to avoid going to the bathroom more. But frequent just-in-case trips may contribute to increased awareness of bladder signals for some people.

Most people assume urgency means a weak pelvic floor. Sometimes the muscles are actually holding too much tension. That is why adding more Kegels can miss the real problem.

Start here: 1. Notice when the urge appears. 2. Take five slow breaths before moving. 3. Make sure you’re drinking water. Do not force yourself to hold through pain. Stop power peeing aka pushing to empty your bladder. Life doesn’t have to be dependent on the nearest bathroom.

DM us URGENCY. We will help you choose a comfortable next step.

Resting more is not always the same as recovering better.

You may have stopped running, lifting, exercising, or even sitting certain ways because movement felt risky. But when your body keeps expecting pain, your muscles can stay tense and protective. That can make ordinary movement feel threatening long after the original irritation has improved.

A late postpartum client once avoided workouts for months. We started with three steps: 1. Identify one movement that felt safe. 2. Practice it slowly with relaxed breathing. 3. Increase the challenge only when her symptoms stayed manageable. The goal was not to push through pain. It was to help her body experience movement as safe again.

You are not failing because pain remains. Your next step may need to be smaller and more supported.

DM READY and we will help you find a comfortable place to begin.

Your bladder, bowel, and pain symptoms may be connected, and a pelvic-health professional can help you explore what may be contributing.

Pelvic floor dysfunction does not always look like leaking. You might notice urgency, frequent bathroom trips, straining, incomplete emptying, pain with s*x, erectile difficulty, or aching through your pelvis, tailbone, hips, or low back.

Here is the part many people miss: pelvic floor muscles can be too weak, too tight, or poorly coordinated. More Kegels are not always the answer. The right treatment depends on what your body is actually doing.

If you recognize two or more symptoms, that does not mean something is wrong with you. It means your body deserves a closer look and a plan built around your goals.

Save this list for your next appointment, or DM me 'SYMPTOMS' and we will help you find your next step.

Your workout should challenge your muscles. Not test whether your pad holds.

A pad can manage leaking. It cannot explain why your bladder loses control during squats, jumps, or running. More Kegels are not automatically the answer either. If your pelvic floor already grips too much or reacts too late, squeezing harder can miss the real problem completely.

Here is what a better return looks like: 1. Coordinate your breath with effort. 2. Adjust pressure during lifting. 3. Build impact gradually. You are not starting over. You are teaching your body how to respond when movement gets demanding.

You deserve more than planning every workout around the bathroom and carrying backup pads. Progress may begin with one rep, one jump, or one dry workout. Those small wins count.

DM us 'GYM' and we will help you find your next step.

Your automatic leg cross is giving you important pelvic floor information.

You are not being dramatic. Your body has learned that laughter creates pressure it may not control quickly enough. Crossing your legs is the backup plan your nervous system reaches for before you even think about it.

Most people assume leaking means the pelvic floor is weak. But more Kegels are not always the answer. Your muscles may be gripping too much. They may also be missing the timing needed when pressure rises.

Start here: 1. Notice whether you hold your breath. 2. Exhale gently as you laugh. 3. Track when leaking happens. These clues help us assess coordination instead of guessing. You deserve more than planning every laugh around the nearest bathroom or hoping nobody notices.

DM LAUGH. We will help you find a path toward laughing without the automatic leg cross.

Pain in one position still counts. You do not have to push through it.

When s*x hurts only at a certain depth or angle. That pattern can give us useful information. Deeper discomfort may involve pressure on sensitive muscles or tissues. Pain near the opening may relate to dryness. Irritation. Or muscles bracing before pe*******on.

Most people assume they simply need to relax or stretch more. But guarded pelvic floor muscles often need better coordination. Not more forcing.

Start here: 1. Notice whether pain feels shallow or deep. 2. Track which angles change it. 3. Stop before your body starts bracing. These details help guide a pelvic floor assessment and a plan built around your comfort.

You are not difficult. Your body is communicating. We can listen without judgment and help you move toward comfortable intimacy.

Vacation constipation often shows up when your usual routine changes.

Travel changes wake times. Meals. Hydration. Movement. Privacy. Your body may miss the usual signals that tell your bowel it is safe to empty. Most people think they need to push harder. But Relaxing and lengthening your pelvic floor may help make bowel movements easier..

Try this travel reset. 1. Eat breakfast near your usual time. Include fiber rich foods. AIM for 3 to 4 cups (serving) 2. Drink water before the day gets busy. Aim for 64oz throughout the day. 3. Walk for ten minutes. Some people find magnesium or a probiotic supportive while traveling. We recommend checking with your healthcare provider to find the right option and dose for you. Time to p**p try to sit with your feet supported (on a travel squatty potty or garbage can, and exhale when you would normally push. Give yourself time without forcing. Forcing p**p out actually won’t help you empty.

If nothing happens. Get up and try again after your next meal. That is not failure. It is your body relearning the cue.

Save this before you pack. DM me 'TRAVEL' if constipation keeps hijacking your trips.

Why is all of this important well if we are holding s**t, we are holding pelvic tension. So say hello to bloating, back pain, pelvic pain, urinary frequency and urgency, leakage, pain/discomfort during s*x.

If your reading this and know you have a prolapse this can be the cause of feeling heavy in your v***a or pelvic area especially at the end of the day! You know that heavy feeling down there.
