Important Weather Update: Event Cancelled 🌧️

Due to the severe weather conditions, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Deerfield Apple Fest.

This decision was not taken lightly. However, given the severity of the weather and the impact it could have on our attendees, staff, and vendors, we feel this is the necessary decision to ensure everyone’s safety.

We sincerely apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause. We know many of you were looking forward to joining us, and we truly appreciate your understanding, patience, and ongoing support.

This event brings us so much joy each year and we look forward to seeing the smiles on familiar faces, so please know that this is the best option for everyone's safety.

🌱 Wait… you can actually GROW a loofah?! 😲

Yep—and this year I decided to try it myself!

I planted loofah from seed and have been watching these crazy vines climb, bloom, and finally start producing actual loofahs. Seeing something go from a tiny seed in my garden to a natural sponge I can actually use is pretty amazing. 💗

This is one of my favorite parts of Dunkirk Soap Co. LLC—learning, experimenting, and finding simple ways to bring a little more natural + sustainable into everyday life.

Now I’m patiently waiting for harvest time… 👀🌿
