🎂🚨 EVERYBODY WISH DAMON A HAPPY 58th BIRTHDAY!! 🚨🎂
For anyone who doesn’t know Damon well, he’s a man of many interests…
✈️ Anything Air Force.
Mention the Air Force and clear your schedule. There will be stories. There will be acronyms. There may be an explanation of an aircraft you did not ask for. 🇺🇸😂
🐄 His farm and cows.
Nothing brings this man peace quite like checking cows and riding around on his tractor. Apparently after spending all day dealing with humans, hanging out with livestock is therapeutic. Honestly, I get it.
🏖️ The beach.
Sun. Sand. Water. Chair. Cold drink. Damon is DONE. No itinerary necessary. Just point him toward the ocean and periodically make sure he’s still breathing.
🩺 Being an NP at Spears Medical & Thrive Wellness.
He genuinely loves taking care of people and will work himself to death doing it… then come home, sit down for approximately 47 seconds before grabbing Cash and heading to the farm 🐂
🐶 CASH.
His actual soulmate.
Cash rides sh***un everywhere like Damon’s furry little copilot. If Damon ever tells me, “It’s either you or the dog,” I’m not even packing a bag. I already know who won. 😂
🐈 Our cats, whom he DOES NOT LIKE. 🙄
Please disregard the fact that he talks to them, pets them, worries about them and lets them lay all over him.
But again…
NOT. A. CAT. PERSON.
🔪📺 Watching Crime documentaries with me.
At this point we have watched enough true crime that we are basically an unlicensed investigative unit.
Within 11 minutes:
“That husband did it.”
Forty-five minutes later:
THE HUSBAND DID IT.
We remain available to law enforcement should our services be required. 🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️😂
And then there’s possibly the greatest sacrifice this man makes…
He listens while I explain every single microscopic detail about whatever I have become completely obsessed with this week:
He watches every Reel or Tik Tok I shove in his face to prove my “he did it”. Hearing every word of testimony from a 6 week trial. Some obscure regulation I discovered at 11:37 PM, hearing every word as to WHY I now have to food prep for Cash annnd every ingredient that goes in..
Does he understand why we suddenly need a 42-minute discussion about it? No.
Does he know there will be a quiz? Also no.
But he listens anyway. 😂❤️

All jokes aside, this man has spent his life taking care of people, serving his country, loving his family & working hard.
So Happy 58th Birthday, Damon! 🎂🥳
You’re not 60 yet, so enjoy these last two years of being able to say “I’m in my 50s.”
The clock is ticking. ⏰🤣🎂

☀️ Summer is here… and let’s be honest… 😎

If we had to guess, sitting in a doctor’s office is probably not on your Summer Bucket List. 🌴🍉🚤

Since many of our patients are busy making memories, taking vacations, chasing kids, or just enjoying the sunshine, we’re making a few changes to our schedule for the summer to better serve both Spears Medical Clinic and Thrive Wellness & Hormone Center.
